Yesterday morning was one of those mornings that came together at the last minute, but especially wonderfully so because my good friend Sam Breach was in town to join me on this last minute sunrise shoot at The University of Washington. Around this time of year, the trees in the quad on campus come alive with cherry blossoms. So much so that the interleaving maze of branches from their trees, with all the flowers, make it seem like they're all connected to one another.
We arrived about 30 minutes before sunrise, to witness a nearly empty, silent quad. It was one of the most tranquil scenes I've been privileged to witness.
