Light Rail

For the past week or so, I've been experimenting with a new camera and a new commute to work. Seattle recently opened an extension to its light rail system, connecting my neighbourhood and the University District to downtown in minutes. It was a perfect setup to try my new camera, which I purchased purely for street photography & candid stills.

I think there'll be a lot more images to come from this camera of this kind in my work going forward. I'm having a blast experimenting with small form factor cameras like this one, which allow you to capture a class of images that aren't possible to capture with attention-grabbing, bulky SLR cameras.

It's still very early, exploratory days for this light rail work, and I'm very much looking forward to digging in deeper.
